Skitter vs Mannequin marks the battle between Skitter and Mannequin.
Prelude
After Shatterbird hits the city, Taylor returns to her territory to help the people affected. While there, Mannequin attacks.
Battle
Skitter finds Mannequin murdering several people in her territory. In extreme anger, Taylor vows that he will regret that, and attacks.[1]
Mannequin practically serves as a perfect counter to her, and has a huge upperhand in the battle. After a short bout, Mannequin cuts Taylors throat. Unbeknown to him, her costume had prevented the blade from penetrating her skin. Taylor plays dead in order to enact a plan, and watches as Mannequin is about to mercilessly murder a young mother and child. Forced into action, Taylor manages to distract him for long enough for her plan to start working. She clogs up his artificial body with spider silk, slowly making him less and less effective. After a long fight, and some assistance from a bearded man, Skitter manages to force Mannequin into a retreat, leaving one arm behind.[2]
