Scarab 25.6 is the sixth chapter of Scarab. Here, Taylor visits home, meets with some old friends before planning to go to New York to be sworn into the Protectorate. Then Jack Slash makes his move.
Plot[]
Taylor is reviewing video of the fight with Khonsu and later The Twins, where she losses a member of her squad.
The Scar and the Brockton Bay Portal are up and running, the city has recovered in her absence. She comes upon a memorial and speaks with Imp, this leads to a meeting with Undersiders and finding out Brian has moved on. They wish her a happy birthday.
They're catching up is interrupted by Weaver's phone vibrating. After looking at it Taylor informs them that it's jack.

Trivia[]
- The timeskip fully occurs and there was wailing and gnashing of teeth
- Aisha again shows her intelligence by noting that one can tell Taylor's emotional state from the activity of her swarm.[1] In fairness though Aisha benefits from knowing Taylor beforehand though.
- Based on in chapter mentions Khonsu's first rampage was around 80 hours, if roughly 30 minutes were spent on each target[2] with a lengthening of time towards the end. Spaced out amoung 163 targets.[3]
- His later rampage lasted close to 15 hours, by the same formula.[4]

Wildbow: By presenting herself as a target, knowing who Taylor was [note: broken knowledge], gauging Taylor's state [note: broken gauge] and being able to anticipate the attack as it came [note; broken thinker power/read, again] she would have turned the situation around into a massive victory.
